A youth has murdered his wife by attacking her with a lumber in Lamjung district on Thursday.
Subba Pariyar, 31, of Gaunsahar VDC-4 of Lamjung district murdered his wife Manmaya, 32, by hitting her in the head with a wooden piece after a minor dispute between the couple took a nasty turn.
Like previous days, the two had quarreled on Thursday as well. But the result this time proved fatal.
Seriously injured in the incident, Manmaya was rushed to Lamjung District Community Hospital for treatment. But she breathed her last while receiving treatment.
Subba's uncle Mangal who tried to stop incident also sustained minor injuries.
Subba also attacked his uncle with the same lumber. Injured Pariyar is receiving treatment in the hospital.
Police have arrested the husband.
