The 59th Filmfare Awards red carpet was high on fashion and had some shocking entries as well. The red carpet was almost blazing with fire when the gorgeous Deepika and Vaani walked the red carpet. The shutterbugs went crazy as they two women posed to get clicked.
On one hand Deepika Padukone sported an almost see through gold Gaurav Gupta gown. In contrast, Vaani Kapoor chose a unconventional purple Nikhil Thampi gown with a thigh high slit and a back that was almost bare.

The ravishing Priyanka Chopra sizzled in a Alexander McQueen black and gold gown. Neha Dhupia teamed a black sleeveless blouse designed by Payal Singhal with a cream skirt by Anju Modi looking simple and elegant.

Rekha and Usha Uthap stuck to their trademark Kanjeevaram sari with gajra in their hair.  While Rekha chose a golden Kanjeevaram, Usha was in a multi coloured one.

Tanisha Mukheriji walked in with her mother Tanuja on The 59th Filmfare Awards red carpet. While Tanuja chose a simple cream sari her daughter chose a risque black gown with side slits.

Divya Dutta came in wearing an outfit specially designed by Riyaz Ganji while Karisma Kapoor wore a stylish sari with a knee length embroidered jacket by Anamika Khanna. Her hairdo, eye make-up and matching clutch made her look classy.

The gorgeous Soha Ali Khan wore a strapless Ken Ferns, Konkona Sen looked stunning in a white embroidered floor-length anarkali designed by Rohit Bal and draped in a black Emilio Pucci gown, Ileana D’Cruz took our breath away. Atelier Mom earrings, red lips and side swept hair completed her look.

Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted wearing a Gaurav Gupta Couture gown. She also wore a silver headband and metallic silver sandals to complete the look. The beautiful Kajol chose a printed Nandita Mahtani gown. She opted for Swarovski earrings and a clutch thus looking chic.

SEE WHO WORE WHAT AT THE 59TH FILMFARE AWARDS RED CARPET:

Nimrat Kaur looked gorgeous in a hand painted chiffon with zardosi sari designed by Shehla Khan.  Sabyasachi loyalists Kalki Koechlin and Divya Khosla Kumar walked the red carpet at The 59th Filmfare Awards in the designer’s creations.

Divya walked in with husband Bhushan Kumar and Kalki came in with her Shaitaan co-star Gulshan Devaiah flashing a bright smile and holding him as tight as she could.

Kainat Arora walked in a flashy gold sequenced gown and Anjana Sukhani looked dazzling in a pink Rajat Tangri gown.

Amrita Rao looked lovely in a Payal Singhal creation while Huma Qureshi, Tamannah and Preity Zinta wore gowns by Gauri And Nainika.

But the evening of The 59th Filmfare Awards belonged to Salma Agha, Sasha Agha, Alka Yagnilk, Shilpa Shukla, Sophie Choudry and last but not the least Prachi Desai as these women were desperately vying for the worst dressed crown.

Salma Agha just walked in wearing a black cotton something while her daughter looked ghastly in red lacy Dolce & Gabbana gown and Alka Yagnilk looked scary in a lime green sari.

Shilpa Shukla looked like a skinny scare crow in a sequinned silver gown, Sophie Choudry in a BCBGMAXAZRIA looked hideous and Prachi Desai who wore designer Swapnil Shinde creation was very uncomfortable in such a bold look.
