Karishma Manandhar shows her pink undies, follows Shilpa Pokharel and Jharana Thapa

It has been a new trend in Nepali actresses to show their underwear by wearing miniskirts in public function. The actresses who want to show off their clothes underneath, they usually wear them of contrasting colors. In the following photo Jharana Thapa was seen wearing a pink underwear under her black mini-skirt. The photo was taken at the Box Office Award nomination ceremony. Jharana was also nominated for the best actress award for her role in the movie ‘Premika’.

A while ago another actress Shilpa Pokharel wore a very short skirt in a function and showed off the cloth underneath (photo at the end of the post).

The actress who started this trend is none other than the most beautiful actress in Nepali film industry, Karishma Manandhar. Karishma had done such show-off in more than one incident (one from 2010 is attached below).

At least, our actresses are wearing clothes underneath. By the way our models and actresses show off their skins, we won’t be surprised if some of them didn’t wear anything underneath.

Artists arrive in Malaysia to participate in NEFTA Film Award

Nepali film related personalities have arrived to participate in one of the biggest Nepali film event in it’s 50-years-old history. The artists participating in the event are near 100 in number including most of the well known actors and technicians. NEFTA film award is going to be held on January 31, 2014.

The participants of NEFTA film award have already reached Malaysia. Some of the well known actors in the ceremony include Karishma Manandhar, Jharana Thapa, Namrata Shreshta, Saujanya Subba, Neeta Dhungana, Benisha Hamal, Richa Sharma, Harshika Shrestha, Pooja Sharma, Aryan Sigdel, Saugat Malla, Samyam Puri, Gajit Bista, Sraj Garach, Nir Shah, Ujjwal Ghimire, Dinesh DC, Aakash Adhikari, Suraj Subba, Suresh Adhikari, Rajesh Payal Rai, Nischal Basnet, Sudarsan Thapa, Dinesh Raut, and Gobind Rai. Similarly actors Rajesh Hamal, Keki Adhikari, Sunil Thapa, Niruta Singh and others had also arrived in Malaysia.

The organizers claim that this is the first time so many Nepali actors have gone out of the country to participate in a program held in a foreign country.

Actress Rekha Thapa has refused to go to Malaysia at the last minute after the bargaining for the Best Actress award failed.

Real Names of Nepali artists who had changed their name after entering the film industry

Changing names is a common practice among Nepali artists for a better name or for good luck. Some astrologers suggest a different names for the success in their career. For example, Bhuwan KC changed his name to a 7-lettered Bhuwann before the release of his movie ‘Sathi Ma Timro‘. It’s a different story, the movie didn’t do well in theater. Actress Binita Baral had also changed her name to Beenita (7-letters) on the suggestion of an astrologer. The result of the change in names were not that exciting. विशेष अदालतका पूर्वन्यायाधीश गौरीबहादुर कार्कीको अध्यक्षतामा गठित बचत तथा ऋणको कारोबार गर्ने समस्याग्रस्त सहकारीका लागि जाँचबुझ आयोगसमक्ष वियोगान्त वयान दिँदै घरजग्गा व्यवसायी एवं ओरियन्टल सहकारीका अध्यक्ष बस्नेतले माथिको बिलौना गाएका हुन् । बस्नेतले कार्की नेतृत्वको आयोगलाई हालै दिएको वयानमा भनेका छन्- ‘मैले मेरै व्यवस्थापनलाई बढी विश्वास गरेर गल्ती गरेँ । मेरो कमजोरीको फाइदा उठाउँदै मेरा कर्मचारीहरुले मोटो रकम खाइदिए । यद्यपि म व्यहोर्न तयार छु । तर, बाहिर हिँडडुल गर्नसक्ने अवस्था छैन, आक्रमण गरिहाल्छन् ।’

दर्जन बढी बैंकबाट ऋण लिएको तथा हाउजिङ व्यवसायमा विभिन्न व्यक्तिको अरबौं रुपैयाँ डुबाएकाले बस्नेतका दुःखका दिन शुरु भएका हुन् । यसक्रममा उनी पक्राउ पनि परिसकेका छन् भने पीडितको रकम फिर्ता गर्न नसक्दा असुरक्षित र भूमिगत बनेका छन् । तर, आफूले फेरि व्यवसाय गर्न पाए सबैको रकम फिर्ता गरिदिने बस्नेतले कार्की नेतृत्वको आयोगसमक्ष प्रतिवद्धता जाहेर गरेका छन् ।

‘सानेपाको हाउजिङको ९० प्रतिशत र बालकुमारीको हेगासको ८० प्रतिशत काम सकिएको छ । आठ/दश करोड रुपैयाँ खर्च गर्दा निर्माण सम्पन्न हुन्छ । र, त्यो बिक्री गर्दा दुई अर्ब रुपैयाँ आउँछ त्यो रकमले बचतकर्ताको बचत फिर्ता गर्छु, बस्नेतले आयोगलाई दिएको वयानमा भनेका छन्, ‘सरकारले सुरक्षाको प्रत्याभूति गराए निर्माणधीन हाउजिङ तथा अपार्टमेन्टको पूरा गर्छु । र, त्यो बिक्री गरेर सर्वसाधारणको रकम फिर्ता गर्छु ।’

सरकारले सुरक्षा दिएपछि बस्नेतले डोजर चलाउन थाले

सुधीरले सुरक्षा पाएको खण्डमा कमाएर सबैको रकम फिर्ता गर्छु भनेपछि आफूले सुरक्षाको प्रत्याभूति गरिदिएको आयोगका अध्यक्ष कार्कीले अनलाइनखबरलाई बताउनुभयो । ‘उनको यस्तो बयान सुनेपछि मैले काम शुरु गर्नु, सुरक्षाको प्रत्याभूति म गराउँछु भनें, अध्यक्ष ‘कार्की भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘सुधीरले पैसा कमाउनु भनेको सबै बचतकर्ताले रकम फिर्ता पाउनु हो, राज्यलाई नै फाइदा हुने हो । देशकै लागि गर्ने हो । त्यसैले सरकार प्रहरी खटाउन तयार भएपछि शनिबारदेखि छम्पीमा भएको जग्गामा प्लटिङ गर्न डोजर लगाउन थालिसकेका छन् ।’

छानविन आयोगका कार्कीले बस्नेतको सम्पत्तिबारे थप जानकारी दिँदै अनलाइनखबरसँग भन्नुभयो, ‘उनले मसँग ११ अर्ब रुपैयाँ सम्पत्ति छ भन्ने बयान दिएका छन् । भक्तपुरको गुण्डुमा २ सय रोपनी, ललितपुरको छम्पीमा ७ सय रोपनी, र फाटफुट् मेची देखि महाकालीसम्म रहेको जग्गा कर्जा कूल १३/१४ सय रोपनी जग्गा छ भनेका छन् । साथै निर्माणाधीन अवस्थामा आधा दर्जन हाउजिङ तथा अपार्टमेन्ट रहेको उनको भनाइ छ ।’

बस्नेतले व्यवसाय सञ्चालन गरेपछि पहिलो चरणमा बैंकको कर्जा तिर्ने, दोस्रोमा सहकारीका बचतकर्ताको रकम फिर्ता गर्ने र बाँकी रहेको रकम आयोगको खातामा जम्मा गरी व्यक्तिहरु डुबेको रकम फिर्ता गराउने कार्कीले बताउनुभयो ।

बस्नेतको जस्तै गुण को-अपरेटिभका अध्यक्ष एवं गुण सिनेमाका मालिक राजेन्द्र शाक्यबाट पनि पीडितको डुबेको रकम रकम फिर्ता गराउने पहल भइरहेको अध्यक्ष कार्कीले अनलाइनखबरलाई बताउनुभयो ।

बचत तथा ऋणको कारोबार गर्ने सहकारी संस्थामा व्यापक ठगी भएपछि निकास खोज्न सरकारले विषेश अदालत काठमाडौंका पूर्वन्यायाधीस गौरीबहादुर कार्कीको संयोजकत्वमा कात्तिक २७ गते तीन सदस्यीय जाँचबुझ आयोग गठन गरेको हो । गत मंसिर १९ गतेदेखि उजुरी लिन शुरु गरेको आयोगमा हालसम्म ५२ सहकारी संस्था विरुद्ध ८ हजारभन्दा बढी उजुरी परेका छन् ।

विशेष अदालतमा रहँदा भ्रष्टाचारसम्बन्धी मुद्दामा सहासिक निर्णय गरेर जनताको विश्वास जित्न सफल कार्कीको अध्यक्षतामा सरकारले आयोग गठन गरेपछि सहकारीमा बचत गरेर रकम फिर्ता नपाएका सर्वसाधारणहरुमा आफ्नो डुबेको रकम फिर्ता हुने आशा पलाएको छ ।

जिल्ला, पुनरावेदन तथा विषेश अदालतमा न्यायाधीशका रुपमा २० वर्ष न्यायसम्पादन गर्नुभएका कार्कीले मुगुमा चामल अभाव आपूर्ति गर्न दिएको आदेशदेखि सुडान घोटाला प्रकरणमा प्रहरीका बहालवाला डीआइजीलगायत प्रहरी उच्च अधिकारीलाई भ्रष्टाचारी ठहर गरेर लोकपि्रयता कमाउनुभएको हो । त्यस्तै पूर्वमन्त्री गोविन्दराज जोशी, आइजीपी मोतिलाल बोहोराले भ्रष्टाचार गरेकेा फैसला उहाँका चर्चित न्यायिक फैसला हुन् ।

विसं. २००६ सालमा भक्तपुरको गुण्डु गाविसमा जन्मिनुभएका कार्की ०२३ सालमा बहिदारको जागिरबाट सार्वजनिक सेवामा प्रवेश गर्नुभएको हो । हाल उहाँले नेतृत्व गरिरहनुभएको आयोगले सहकारी संस्थामा बचत गर्नेहरुको रकम फिर्ता गर्न पहल गर्नुका साथै सहकारी क्षेत्रका विकृति हटाउन सरकारलाई सुझाव दिने तयारी गरिरहेको छ ।

In a question, Sabina told that there are a lot of people who want to take advantage of new comers. She admitted that the directors and producers try to take advantages of female actresses.

Talking about ‘ATM’ Sabina told that she didn’t have any intimate scenes in the movies. Some of the vulgar dialogues had dragged her in the controversy. About the scene of her eating ice cream, she told that it wasn’t suggestive and she eats ice cream like that in real life.

Boasting to be a virgin, Sabina told that she doesn’t want to have sexual relationship before marriage. About the roles in movies, she told that she has no problem in being featured in bed scenes or in two-pieces.

Sabina admitted that she doesn’t talk with her co-actress in ‘ATM’, Jiya KC. Although Jiya helped her in getting the role in the movie, their relationship ended when Jiya stepped on her feet mercilessly during the shooting of such scene in the movie.
